Chickens and Gardening, it's a natural. Like a horse and
carriage. This is why we could not resist adding just one CHICKEN
HEN HOUSE to our garden site. And in doing so, we wanted to offer what
we believe is the best small coop for the backyard gardener or urban
gardener.
This coop provides a comfortable and healthy home environment for up
to 3 medium laying hens or 5 Bantams. Made of plantation-grown Douglas
Fir, which has the added benefit of repelling insects - keeping your
chicks lice-free. All coops are stained with a
non-toxic, low
VOC, weather resistant paint.
Backyard chickens are a perfect addition to any organic garden.
Chicken poop is rich in nitrogen and makes a fabulous organic
fertilizer. And it's FREE!
A great addition for the backyard gardener or urban gardener - this
coop utilizes less ground space than most chicken coops. You also get
the advantage of a covered run, giving predator protection to your
precious hens. This will also keep predators from snatching your
chickens feed.

door, allowing for easy feeding and watering. This also allows chickens
to exit and roam free. The nesting box is located at one end of the coop
with it's own door for collecting eggs. Removable side door allows for
easy cleaning of the upstairs roosting area. The ladder can be raised at
night to give your chickens even more security from predators.
Convenient sturdy carrying handles allow for easy mobility. Move your
coop every couple of days, and your chickens will mow and fertilize your
lawn! The lower enclosed-run provides 16 square feet of open
space allowing chickens daily availability to sunlight - an
absolute necessity for development of Vitamin D. The covered run
provides shelter from both rain and scorching sun.
HAPPY CHICKENS lay an average of one egg per day.

The upper roosting area provides 12 square feet of space
